TriNetX Tools ("we," "us," "our") operates the website at trinetxtools.com. We provide SaaS tools that process de-identified clinical research CSV data exported from TriNetX into publication-ready outputs.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, collected when you sign up directly or via Google OAuth.
• Payment information: Payment details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers.
• Uploaded data: De-identified clinical research CSV files you upload for processing. These files originate from TriNetX and should not contain protected health information (PHI).
• Usage data: Basic analytics such as pages visited and features used.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To process your uploaded CSV data and deliver analysis outputs.
• To process payments through Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, receipts) via Resend.
• To improve and maintain our services.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded CSV files and generated outputs are automatically deleted from our servers within 7 days of processing. We do not retain your research data long-term.

For beta analysis features (Kaplan-Meier, Absolute Risk, Cox Trend), we may temporarily retain input and output data for quality assurance purposes. This data is used solely to verify correctness and improve analysis accuracy.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to manage authentication sessions. These are essential cookies required for the service to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery.
• Google — OAuth sign-in (if you choose to sign in with Google).

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or uploaded data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Data is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above, strictly to operate the service.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure authentication via Supabase, and automatic deletion of uploaded files. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Uploaded research data is automatically deleted within 7 days regardless.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
